Responsibilities and activities will include:

• Develop and maintain corporate websites (website / webpage design, creation and maintenance of page templates, custom code and objects, database access, security / firewalls).

• Conduct day-to-day technical administration and maintenance (monitoring web log files, verifying website security models and website links, ensuring functionality and performance, maintaining servers).

• Maintain content management system software, including software upgrades, content standards, and security.

• Maintain web analytics software (upgrades, installations, configuration and usage reporting).

 

Recommended skills and qualifications include:

• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word Suite.

• Strong and comprehensive knowledge in website design (templating, Blue boarding, backend infrastructure and analysis, HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Flash, Java, Java script, XML, and Adobe CS3).

• Project management capacities.

• Desire to remain up-to-date with regard to website design and functionality innovations.

 

We expect the volunteers to commit for 6 - 12 months and spend about 2 - 3 hours of their time each week.
