Current Volunteer Opportunities at GlobalCures
Billions of dollars are spent each year on laboratory research, where enormous progress has been made in recent years. However, for the most part, only those discoveries with high potential commercial reward have led to drugs for human use. We now have a unique opportunity - indeed a responsibility - to research further and develop the remaining discoveries. We can achieve this goal via a non-profit drug development model, so that the criteria used in evaluating the potential of a new therapy will not include financial success.
GlobalCures is a non-profit medical research institute. A part of our mission is to provide a database of promising therapies that are ignored by others in the drug development industry. Many of these candidates are combinations of FDA approved drugs already available today. We provide un-biased information about the science behind many of these ‘hidden gems’ that a patient can use today.
Cancer research is a vast field where new knowledge is being created on a daily basis. We are as yet a small, young organization with limited resources. It is only with the help of our dedicated volunteers that we can provide up-to-date research and hope to cancer patients everywhere. These exceptional people have spent many hours of their valuable time to make GlobalCures work and we thank them for their unwavering dedication.
