The 6^th annual Endure to Conquer 5K Run/Walk in honor of Joe Dougherty will be held at 8.00 am on September 18, 2011 at the Burbank Ice Arena, 51 Symonds Way, Reading, MA 01867.

History: In November of 2005, Joe Dougherty was diagnosed with a glioblastoma. Though the outlook was grim and the chance of survival was small, he researched treatments for this disease with the same determination and passion he used in every facet of his life prior to his diagnosis. During his research, he came across GlobalCures.  All the proceeds from the Race/Walk have been donated to GlobalCures for the past four years.  Joe lost his battle with cancer on July 30, 2008, but his family and friends have continued the event in his honor.
