Vidula is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of GlobalCures. She holds an M.S. in mathematics from Northeastern University and an M.S. from the Harvard School of Public Health in epidemiology. She has 20 years of experience in information systems in a healthcare environment.
Vikas received a Sc.D. in physics from MIT and an M.D. from Harvard Medical School. He is a physician engaged in both basic science and patient-oriented research at Harvard, where he is the Victor J. Aresty Professor of Medicine. He is also the Chief Academic Officer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. His primary interest is in cancer research but his research has spanned such diverse areas as toxemia of pregnancy and sepsis.
Rajiv did his undergraduate work in mechanical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur, India and received his Ph.D. in Industrial Administration from Carnegie-Mellon University. Dr. Lal is the Stanley Roth, Sr. Professor of Retailing at Harvard Business School prior to which Dr. Lal taught at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University where he had been since 1982. In addition, Dr. Lal was the Thomas Henry Carroll Ford Foundation Visiting Professor at Harvard Business School for 1997-98, and the visiting Professor of Marketing at INSEAD, France in 1986, 1988, 1992 and 1993. Dr. Lal also serves as the co-editor of the journal Quantitative Marketing and Economics and has been an Area Editor for Marketing Science.
Philip graduated from Colby College and Columbia University School of Law. Mr. Chase is the Vice President (Legal) at Alnylum Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, MA. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Chase served as Vice President and General Counsel of RenaMed Biologics, a biotechnology company, Vice President and General Counsel of EPIX Pharmaceuticals, and Chief Corporate Counsel of Transkaryotic Therapies, Inc. He also worked at the law firms of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Shearman & Sterling. He is an experienced attorney specializing in representing members of the pharmaceutical industry.
Amy received a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck school of Dartmouth College. Most recently, Ms. Hedison served as Vice President, Investor Relations at EPIX Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining EPIX, Ms. Hedison served as Director of Investor Relations at EXACT Sciences, a pharmaceutical company, and as Director of Investor Relations and Director of Marketing at Gomez, Inc., an Internet quality measurement firm. Prior to Gomez, Ms. Hedison spent six years at Biogen, Inc. (now Biogen-IDEC), where she held several positions, including Director of Investor Relations. She was also a senior member of the marketing team that launched Biogen's first product, AVONEX(TM). She is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry.
Sharon is currently at Harvard Medical School and has been teaching at Harvard University since 1990, including 5 years as an Instructor at the Harvard Business School. As a Director for Clinical Quality Harvard Medical International, Sharon provided teaching and training to hospitals and health care organizations in 15 countries. Previously Sharon was the Director of Care Improvement at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, an affiliated hospital of Harvard Medical School.

Our Collaborating Hospital
